Long time

I used to think it would be impossible for me to let blogging fall by the wayside, but, alas, blogging rarely makes it on my list of things to do these days. So I apologize to any of you who read this blog, but it's really to record what's going on with our kids anyway!

When the Girl turned 8 months old, I wrote this.

Sweet C reached the 8 month landmark yesterday and I have to admit, it seems to have come a lot faster than it did with her big sister. At any rate, I figured I owed our little butter ball a post about her accomplishments, and how much we love her, etc, etc...

Char is just the sweetest little thing. She plays by herself, and rolls her little roly poly body all over the place. She's figured out how to get from her bum to her hands and knees and back, but no crawling action yet. Which is fine, because she's quite adept at rolling where ever she desires to go.

She still doesn't really sleep through the night. Most nights she'll do at least 6 hours. But she just loves to be snuggled. I don't really have a problem with her being in my bed from 3 am-7am. So we're living with it. :)

She is starting to enjoy solid foods a little better. The first 6 weeks, she would spit all her food out at me after 1 or 2 bites. Last week I tried feeding her fruit for the first time. Apparently she's already decided that she doesn't like vegetables. Sigh...so much for trying them first!

She has the most beautiful blue eyes you have ever seen. She really is just a beautiful child.

She's started having a bit of separation anxiety. She's not so fond of my leaving her.

She LOVES loves LOVES her big sister. They are the cutest thing to watch together. Whatever the Girl does, it makes Char laugh. (Well, except maybe sitting on her, or banging the toy vaccuum into her head...)

She loves music.

I think she's going to be as verbose as her big sister. And she can say Mama. Seriously. It's cute!

Whenever she's doing something cute, if I grab the camera, she stops and just stares at the camera. Hence, I am unable to capture many smiles from her...:)
