Stuart turned 28 last Wednesday. Here are a few things we love about him:
*He is handsome.
*He thinks he is very humorous, and most of the time he's right. (But sometimes I'm interpreting his humor too seriously and don't laugh...)
*He enjoys his job. Right now he is doing consulting instead of auditing, so he is home a lot more.
*He loves to travel.
*He is re-reading Jesus the Christ, and finished 1776. He's also trying to get through a book entitled "An Empire of Wealth," by John Steele Gordon, which was given to him by a drunk guy on an airplane.
*He was just called to be the membership clerk in our ward, which he enjoys. He's still teaching Elder's Quorum once a month as well.
*He is the cutest Daddy in the world. Seriously, it melts my heart.
*He played in some online Magic the Gathering Tournaments this weekend.
Our Sweet Charlotte is 18 months old. What a cutie. With the age we have developed a few tantrums, but they are still pretty mild (maybe just compared to her sister?) and she gets over them quickly. Could it possibly be that I just freak out less as I'm a but more experienced with normal toddler behavior? I don't know. At any rate, we LOVE this kid!
She is very small for her age. She still has a bit of chub, but because she's so short, she is still less than 22 pounds. She is a bundle of snuggles and loves to give kisses. I counted up her words, and there are well over 50, unless you don't count when she says "bada" for banana. But most of the object words she says she can also sign, so we usually know what she wants. She says "more" for food" and "again" for more tickles, playing, or chasing. And boy, does she LOVE to be chased. She is incredibly interested any time someone is going potty, and even signs and says "potty," but she doesn't like sitting on the potty. I don't think she'll train any later than 2 1/2. But I'm not stressed about it.
Charlotte LOVES books. In fact, at least half of her tantrums stem from wanting to read a book at an inopportune moment.
We just love our blue-eyed, snugly, sweet, charming, active, climbing, reading, running, dancing, singing little gal!
