Things my kids say

I'm devastated about all the things I have forgotten.  Keeping track of my kids' milestones and general cuteness MUST be a greater priority for me!  With that in mind, here are a few things my kids have said lately:

Alana
1.  This morning Alana was sprinting around our home.  (She loves to run!)  She said "Mom, when I run on my toes I can run so fast.  I am as fast as a cheetah!"  Either she's great at hyperbole or she really thinks she runs 60MPH! :)
2.  Last week Alana and I were discussing her birthday wishes.  She mentioned that she wanted scriptures, and that she wanted me to teach her to read them! I made a mental note to have Stuart pick up some scriptures for her.  Fast forward to Saturday (2/9/2013) when my parents took her for a special birthday lunch and to pick out a present.  An hour into the outing I received a call from my mom "Um, Alana wants scriptures.  Is that ok?"  Funny that she had to ask, and of course I told her that would be excellent if they wanted to spend that much money on my daughter.  What a sweet little kid!  She has her heart in the right place and has such a natural desire to learn the Gospel.
3.  On that same outing with her grandparents, Alana was apparently singing the ABC song.  After one rendition, my dad said "Ok, now I'll sing with you."  Alana tried to argue, but my dad persisted.  After the second time through Alana sang "next time won't you NOT sing with me!"  lol

Charlotte.
1.  Last week Char informed us that Heavenly Father is a girl.  So I taught her about Heavenly Mother and how much she loves us just like Heavenly Father does.  Oh, and Heavenly Mother is a girl.
2.  Today Charlotte told us "The Holy Ghostes is a scary ghostes that goes 'Rargh!'"
3.  In her prayers a few days ago Charlotte said "Thank thee for Jesus and for Heavenly Father and for everyone who is my friend."  Such a dear little child.  She has been needing a lot of attention lately.

Esther.
This child walks around singing.  She still doesn't talk a ton.  She's on track developmentally and everything, but it's hard not to compare her to her sisters.  Alana especially was almost talking in full sentences by 18 months.  But we're still thrilled by everything she says!
1.  One song she repeats over and over it "E I E I OOOOO!"

2. Another song: Up above the world so high." Except it sounds something like this "Up uh buh buh buhr bo high."  So cute!
3.  On phrase she has mastered? "HELP ME!"  Most likely because she is continually getting into situations she can't handle, such as climbing on places she can't get down from, or picking up small chairs that are as big as she is (which she is trying to move so that she can climb on something.)
