we saw two geese.

one of these geese was looking for fresh water snails to eat.  

                                         the other goose was eating buttercups and grass.

       

                                          One goose would eat while the other would keep
                                          watch for predators.
                                          when I got close they ran away.

                                          they crossed the creek and left heart-shaped
                                          prints in the mud. I got to close so they flew away.
