With Stuart going to England, finances are a little tighter than we expected. Don't get me wrong, we are doing fine, but with baby expenses we are being very frugal in order to not go into debt. Well, England was a little more expensive than I had planned, and we needed to pay my Ob/Gyn. However, this week when I went in for my 6 week post-pardum check up, the doctor wrote off what he owed him. So we didn't have to pay. The great thing is that we owed $200. What had happened was there was a $200 deductible for having the baby. My doctor submited the claims to our insurance before the hospital, so the deductible went to the doctor. Then the doctor wrote it off. If we had to pay the ded. to the hospital, there's no way they would have written it off. So we just have a small copay that will go to the hospital, and our baby costs less than $200 for us (by the way, her hospital bill was almost $10,000!)
So once again our testimony of tithing has been reconfirmed.
On a sadder note...I have to go back to work on Monday. Many people have asked how this will work. A friend of a friend lives 1 block from my school, and she will be watching Alana on the days Stuart can't take her. Ideally I will be able to go there at my lunchtime to nurse! My mom has also volunteered to drive out to Sandy to pick Alana up on the days she is off track from school. So, though the next 8 weeks will be hard, we're going to be happy and just enjoy each day as it comes! And live for the time when I can stay home!

It is always so special when the Lord reaffirms your testimony & lets you know that when you pay your tithing, he will bless you. Sorry to hear you have to go back to work, that will be hard!
Such a neat story! I am so glad that everything worked out with what you have to pay and everything. Money can be sooo stressful! And I'm sorry that you have to go back to work. It is hard to leave your baby. I had to pump in the counselors office when I went back to finish up my student teaching, it's so hard! But only for eight weeks! At least this isn't permanent!
Yes, the Lord works in mysterious ways. I'm glad you're recognizing the blessings in your lives.
I was just wondering why Stuart's going to England. Is it for work?

Oh!! How's school been? I bet it has been hard to be back! Only 8 weeks...you can totally do that and your baby won't even remember it. Good luck and let me know if I can help in any way!
