Photos for you

This is what happens when you start a new church time and the afternoon nap gets completely skipped! (it's 6:30 pm now, she's been in bed for 90 minutes and I hope she stays asleep for the night!) Yes, that is chocolate on her face. It's a great way to keep a baby happy. (Well, it was actually pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, but of course the smallest part of the cookie made the biggest mess.)

Before church this morning, Alana had crazy-girl hair. She's been having fun with toys lately, and can spend quite a long time paying attention to one thing. Some of her favorites: the sesame street pop-up toy, the baby panda that moves and squeaks when you press his tummy, and the stuffed pony that Sharolynn bequeathed to her.

Christmas Morning at Grannie & Grandpa D's was very exciting! Unfortunately, we didn't get very many pictures. Mostly, baby just loved all the people she got to play with! And of course, the extra attention was a bonus!

This is Alana with her first pair of piggy tails! Now I leave bangs down, but I like it better without bangs. Her hair is growing SO fast!

She sure is cute! We had a lot of fun with you all last week. We'll have to get together more often. Thanks again for the cereal! We gave William some last night.

This is so cute! I used to do little piggy tails on PJ when she had so little hair. One day, when she was sick, I had taken the piggy tails out to take her to the doctor but overall shape had remained. The doctor commented that she looked like the mayor of the munchkins on the Wizard of Oz!
