In which Alana turns FOUR!

Alana turned four on February 17. She was counting down for weeks. Each morning she woke up and asked "is it my birthday yet?" Now she's counting down to her half birthday!

We had so much fun with my little cutie! We invited a few of her neighbors over for a "Fancy Nancy" birthday party. It was so incredibly fun. Because musical chairs is such a fun game! They also made necklaces and decorated cupcakes! :)

Some things about my great four-year-old:
*This kid is destined to be a perfectionist. We're going to have to work on that, because unfortunately she is SO hard on herself.
*She loves to write her letters and can write all the letters in her name, and a few others. The letter "n" is a recent accomplishment, it took her a little longer to learn it because of her tendency toward perfectionism.
*She still loves to play with her baby sister and is getting to be such a great helper!
*This evening she cleaned up all the toys in her room by herself. I was SO impressed. I better remember to tell her that!
*She LOVES chicken noodle soup (homemade) and pancakes.
*She still loves blueberries and will eat them whenever we have them. But if there are no blueberries around, she'll chow down on 2-3 apples every day.
*Carrots and tortilla chips dipped in ranch are another favorite snack.
*She loves dressing up, playing pretend, and playing outside.
*She always directs the play around here.
*She has a tendency to be pretty organized.
*She has a testimony of Jesus, the Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith, and the Prophet.
*She melts my heart every day. I am so grateful for this great little gal that Heavenly Father sent to me!!
