When we attended the temple in January, I felt strongly that I needed to do better at teaching my children about the temple. Last night, I had a thought to talk to Esther about the temple.
Me: Esther, do you know why we have pictures of temples in our house?
Esther: Because Jesus loves us.
Me: Yes, and because He loves us, He wants our family to be together forever. The temple is the place where mommies and daddies can be married so their marriage will last forever. That is what pictures of temples reminds us of.*
Esther: I farted.**
* Not exactly what I said but something along those lines.
