I'm tired, and you should tell your mom thanks!

If you have ever pulled an all-nighter, then run a 10K the next day, you might understand how tired I feel right now. I know that not everyone gets severe fatigue with pregnancy, but I am absolutely running on empty. Maybe I'm resting too much, but I never take naps during the day. I sleep 7-9 hours a night, but I often wake up in the middle of the night (thanks to another wonderful pregnancy symptom). I am not at all complaining! Just being this tired gives me new respect for mothers and all they go through to bring children into this world!

On Monday I started working for a 3-week day camp for kids aged 5-11. The camp is 3 days a week for 3 hours (lots of 3's) and is really fun! Except it's really hot outside...and I'm really tired. Seriously, 5 minutes of watching kids play on the playground and I need to take a nap. Oh darn, it sounds like I'm whining again.
Anyway, today's theme was pirates, and we started with a treasure hunt, which the kids loved!! They made eye patches, and played games, and it seemed that they had a lot of fun! On Monday I planned endangered animal day; it wasn't nearly as fun!! At least now I can't complain that I'm bored...I'm too tired to be bored!! ha ha!

You have just reminded me how glad I am that I'm not pregnant any more. And yet... I'm still tired (even more so actually). It was so worth it though when you got to hear the heartbeat, feel the baby kick and get hiccups, and the best part was the ultrasound! And you seem to not be sick, so that's really good!

Hi Crystal,
I understand the tired, but I thought I would throw in my two cents with the other comment, you will never be well rested again! Even if you try and nap or sleep with kids you are always on call!
BUT as stated before it is so worth it! Sleep is temporary, children are forever!
