This is a really fun idea. I'll have to do this too. I like how you color coded things. Great idea!

Thanks for the recipe! I'll have to try it out. I appreciated your comment about being nervous about a natural birth. I think that is REALLY normal, because it is something new and something that people always tell you is too hard or impossible. It takes a lot of faith and courage, but I know you have it in you and will find it when the moment comes.

I can tell by your Goodreads that you've been reading a lot about natural birth and probably know SO much more than you did last time. That will make a big difference. I don't know if you are planning on it but I think it is REALLY helpful to take a childbirth class-- one that teaches you techniques for coping with labor, because not only does it force you to practice but it also puts you around lots of other women who are planning on natural births and the support is nice.

Also if you still feel anxious about natural birth I would REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY consider having a doula. Having another woman there that knows how to support you and reassure you that everything is normal and fine makes ALL the difference in my opinion. Also hospitals tend to take your request to have a natural birth (like not offering you meds as much) if you have a doula-- they know you are serious about it and are prepared.

Doulas aren't really that expensive, considering all they do-- but if cost is a concern there are usually doulas who are training who will do a birth for a reduced fee or a trade of some sort (even experienced doulas will do this). If you want I know a few doulas down in Utah county and I could see if there are any who would do a reduced fee. Then you could have the info on hand in case you decide you want to have one.

Sorry, this was so much unsolictied advice :) But I am SO excited for you-- how fun that our babies will be so close-- and remember how nervous and scared I was last time (in all honesty, I'm not 100% free of fear or anxiety-- just less than last time) and how nice it was to have people who were supportive and encouraging. You can SO do it-- just because you didn't last time doesn't mean a thing. This is a whole new pregnancy and a whole new baby-- and you are different this time!
