Tidbits

We've been busy. This week had us up in L. with the Daddy Man. It was fun, we visited Whit & Ev, and one of my dearest old friends, Angie. (She's doing great, btw, having her 2nd baby, a boy, in June).

Our kids are just awesome (other than the whole sleep thing, but who wants to beat a dead horse?)

Last week C was sick, and during her fussy times she would cry and say "mom, ma ma ma". So she said my name first. Ha!

Then, this week, when fussing, she said "Da da da." I know I know, she's just showing normal signs of language development, but when she says it so cutely, I just can't help but gush. It's impossible not to believe that she's really saying our names!

Today The Girl named her first stuffed animal. Actually, he's a giraffe puppet, but his name is Bongo. We've heard the following things from the Girl in the last hour.

"Dad, can Bongo read book with you?"
"Bongo is sad. He misses his mom and dad."
"I'm making food for Bongo."
"Bongo's awake."

This is too much fun! I'd better go enjoy my kiddos some more!

ps. The Daddy just informed me that Bongo kissed the Girl's ouchy all better. What a nice friend!
