The past few days each prayer has consisted of all of the normal things I talk to the Lord about, but with a little something extra. I added in something to the affect of "Heavenly Father, our car is broken, if it is thy will please let it not be broken as bad as we think it is. Bless that the repairs will cost less than we are planning so that we will be able to deal with our financial obligations."
I fully expected that when I called the shop, they would tell me what they told me. And what they told me was this: "It isn't as bad as you thought it was, we just blew out the metal shavings and put in a new spark plug." I'm telling anyone reading this that prayers are answered. I knew that what happened COULD happen, but I also knew that if it wasn't the Lord's will, then we would be fine! And we are!
The Lord teaches me again and again to trust in Him, and His power to bless us! We are so grateful!

Crys! I am so glad your car isn't as bad as you thought! Whitney just told me all about it last night! I am excited to see you and baby on Friday! Love ya! (PS on your post about mom you said made instead of mad...)
I am so glad it wasn't as bad as you thought. And I agree, our Father in Heaven is definately listening and answers.
Thanks for sharing that. It's always a good reminder to keep the faith in tough situations.
Thank you for that! It's a great reminder of answered prayers. Thank you I needed that.
I'm glad things turned out well for you guys! It helps me to remember that the Lord is always mindful of our needs and wants. P.S. have you read any good books lately? let me know.
Wow! It sounds like you have been busy! It always amazes me how much Heavenly Father blesses us when we are following the gospel principles. I hope everything continues to work out! Let us know if you need anything...we are just in SF!
That's so great! Thanks for the story. I'm glad it ended up being not as bad as you thought it may be.
Thanks for sharing that. It never ceases to amaze me how much the Lord has his hand in our lives. We think, oh, He won't care about "this" or "that" and yet he does and it is so wonderful.
