Some favorite activities

I guess we can't limit her obsession with taking things out to just laundry. She loves to get into her Daddy's school bag and play with his highlighters, earphones, you name it. She tries to put as many as she can into one hand. As I type she has 3 pens and one marker in her right hand. What a funny child.


If you have kids, you know that going to the bathroom by yourself is a rare luxury. So yesterday I gave Alana a roll of toilet paper to play with when she followed me in the B-room. She played with it in the hallway later. It was remarkably effective in keeping her from touching the back of the toilet or flushing it. I try to keep it clean, but who knows what germs lurk just a day later?
