The next few weeks my journal details how Stuart and I started getting together more and more. We held hands, we eventually kissed (which was gross because he didn't know what he was doing). In every journal entry there is something about how much I loved him and how wonderful it was to spend time with him. I was completely smitten. He was everything I had been looking for in a guy. We spent so much time together. I've often thought that his family did not appreciate me taking up so much of Stuart's time so soon after he returned from a 2-year mission!
September 2004, I lived at home and commuted from West Valley City to Provo to work and attend classes. Stuart attended Salt Lake Community College. I wanted to get married early 2005, but Stuart was very worried about finances. I felt impatient, but I didn't pressure him. December 25, 2004 we got engaged and set our wedding date to May 13, 2005. In January I moved to Provo because my class schedule did not facilitate commuting every day. Stuart and I only saw each other on weekends. I would ride the bus to Salt Lake, and Stuart would pick me up and take me home.
