So, motherhood is looking more and more challenging! My 6-year-old-sister has been staying with us since Sunday night, and she will be here until Thursday!! We are having quite a bit of fun. We went swimming yesterday, and I took her down the big water slide( in the process I swallowed some pool water and freaked out the rest of the day that I hurt the baby...so far all is well).
Anyway, lil' sis gets bored really easily, and we don't exactly have a kid-friendly home. DH taught her how to play "Super Smash Brothers," which is nice because I get really tired in the afternoon and need a cat nap. Somehow she stays up until 11 p.m. and wakes up by 7 a.m. and doesn't need a nap during the day! Today, we are going to storytime and the library and tomorrow is the Bean Museum!! I just feel so bad when she is bored, although she did help me vaccuum today, and the vacuum was way too big for her! I guess I'm just glad our baby won't come out as a 6-year-old...:)
