Happy 2 month birthday to Alana! She had her checkup today, and the doctor says she is just beautiful, which we already knew. I was shocked to find out that her height is off the charts: she's 24.8 inches! She weighed in at 10 lbs 12 oz, so she's growing very nicely! Yay! What a great baby.
Sadly, she got her shots. I mean, we are glad to prevent a lot of dangerous diseases, but I had more anxiety about it than when I get shots myself! She did great, and only cried for about 30 seconds. We love our darling baby!
In school news, I am having a hard time leaving my baby everyday. She is a such a fun age, and it is painful to leave her every day. I know it's only for 7 more weeks, but could time drag by more slowly?
Stuart has finals this week and has a lot of work in store to get ready. I personally think he'll do a great job and be very successful! He is really the most amazing daddy! It is so much fun to see his love for Alana grow, and how he plays with her and sings to her (in French! Even I haven't been so privledged to be sung to in French!) The trip to London is only a month away, and I can't wait for it to be over. I'm not excited to be without him for 2 weeks!!

Man, I was so proud for Kate because she was 25 in. long. Alana just put her to shame. She's two months younger ten Kate. Do you have a hard time with clothes fitting her?

Your little girl IS beautiful. I think that it is the laughs and the smiles that make Motherhood SO worth it. You might not get paid a lot in the "worldly" sense, but those moments are completely priceless! I am so glad to hear that things are going so well for you!
