American Idol here we come!
Yesterday I was singing to Alana. She started singing along. I just wanted to post this, because it was amazing. OK, so she wasn't REALLY singing, but seriously I would sing, and she would start cooing and changing the pitch of her coos. Then when I stopped singing she would just grin. It kept repeating. I hope she is a better singer than me, and especially better than I was as a child. I sang constantly when I was little. Everywhere I went I would sing. Danny would tell me to stop (it probably was really annoying considering I was 10 before I learned how to sing without changing keys every line). Apparently my dad told my mom "it's going to break her heart when she grows up and realizes she can't sing." Luckily, singing IS something that can be learned. And while I'm not headed to becoming a star, at least I know my baby likes my voice, or else she would probably cry instead of coo and smile!

We love American Idol. When Alana makes it on the show we'll vote for her every week...unless Max is there too :)
That cracks me up! Grandma Andreasen watches AI every week faithfully, and she votes on every phone line, so I will give her a heads up so she can vote for Alana!
How fun, enjoy every minute!
what a cute story!
