What's been going on this week?

Funny you should ask!
First, Stuart is not as busy as last semester, so we actually get to see him fairly often! He's so good at taking care of Alana when I need a minute to breath, or helping with dinner. And he's suddenly started cleaning on Saturdays! I like him being less busy!!

Alana got a new tooth. She's been working on it for months, but it finally decided to pop through today. She'll look kind of funny with two teeth on bottom and one on the top, but we anticipate she'll grow more teeth! ;)

Alana has started bringing us books to read. It's funny because as little as 2 weeks ago she was too distracted to want to do more than turn the pages as quickly as possible. But she'll read 10 books in one sitting. Glad to know that SOMETHING I did has worked. (My secret, I've read to her EVERY day since the day she came home from the hospital, with maybe 2 exceptions!)

Alana tries to put her books back on the shelf...sometimes. They usually just fall off.

Alana LOVES to help with laundry, but her favorite thing to do is to pull all the dirty laundry out of the basket in our room.

Me, I've been feeling rather tired and yucky. Combined with cabin fever and I'm itching for it to be warm again. We played outside this week when it got into the 30's. It felt like summer. We went to the library several times and I'm reading a book on nutrition(Eat, Drink, and Be Healthy), as well as Love, Stargirl which is the sequel to Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. So far I don't like it as much as Stargirl.

I like to do Alana's hair. I need to get some sponge rollers to try it curly. I've not really felt like cooking lately, but we did get breakfast at McDonalds the other day. It was kind of gross. We've been playing the game Munchkins, which is WAY better than Killer Bunnies!

Other than that, we're just trying to survive the cold winter. We haven't gotten sick, thank goodness! Here are some silly pics of Alana (I know she looks like Stuart, but she's SO an Epperson too! These pics look like my brother Sam to me!):
