I had an appointment with my midwife on Friday, and it was a happy one. They think they are going to induce me if the baby isn't here by the 21st(42 weeks, according to them), ha ha...barring an emergency that won't happen...
...BUT my due date may not be that inaccurate, so little sister may show up on her own before then anyway. Technically due the 9th, had it moved to the 16th, so hopefully she'll come that week sometime. Hubby is going out of town this week and next for a temp job, so she absolutely can't come before the 3rd! But I think she needs 2-4 more weeks to cook. In any case, she should be here by this time next month and I'm SO excited!! (and a little nervous, how will Little Girl handle it? will I be able to take care of 2 kids? What will this little one be like? How will I survive with no sleep?)
The pounds are piling on though. In the last 4 weeks I've gained 10 pounds! CRAZY! But my total is still only 25, so I'll hopefully stay under 30 pounds of weight gain!
ps. still excited to have a natural birth, but I have sort of come full circle in my research as well as my feelings about childbirth. I know natural birth is healthiest for baby & me, I know my body was made to do this, I am excited to bring my baby here, but I'm also grateful for the knowledge that if anything goes wrong, I'll have the support I need!

I'm so excited for baby to come! And I'm excited to watch Alana this week! Last night I could hear the baby upstairs crying and I was a little bit jealous...weird huh, to be jealous of a sleepless night?
