Holy Half!

I ran my first ever Half Marathon this weekend! It was a killer course, the first five miles being a steep downhill grade. I didn't want to kill my knees by stopping, so I let the momentum take me down. That probably helped my time a lot. I ended up under 2 hours! But I haven't been able to walk. Stuart says now he knows what I'll walk like when I'm 90! There are only a few muscles in my legs that don't hurt. My hamstrings are only a little sore. Everything else is pretty excruciating!

Yay! Congratulations! You're my hero. I really want to do a half marathon, but it seems so impossible right now.

That shirt looks AWESOME on you! Sooo glad that the legs are finally back to normal, for a few days I was worried it was never gonna get better!

Congratulations! That is something I wish I had the dedication to do, but know myself well enough that I know it will never ever happen. I sometimes think people like you are crazy...maybe from being sore you will think that too :) Nice work!
