Last night she compiled a list of her favorite ("favret") foods. She had me help her write some of them, but I thought she did a great job spelling a lot of them. I added "jello" today because she would eat a huge pan of jello every day if I would let her. She even wants a jello cake for her birthday. Funny girl.

Alana's Favret foods
Alana is kind of a picky eater, only she likes a lot of foods that traditionally picky kids wouldn't touch. She will consume most vegetables, all fruits, and lots of grains. It's mostly sauces and spicy things that she hates. And mashed potatoes.

I'm trying to be much more positive with my kids. I tend to get grumpy with them and sometimes it feels like I am constantly telling them what to do. So lately I've been trying to refocus and notice the great things about them. One thing I love about Alana is how she is naturally organized and when she is interested in doing or learning something, she gets really into it. She is starting piano lessons on Wednesday with a gal in our ward, so fingers crossed that she enjoys it!
