Esther March/April 2012

This is our happy girl! Well, she is mostly happy. This is the look she has on her face when her mom walks into the room and picks her up. Such a momma's girls!

With Aunt Julie. Aunt Whitney was visiting from Kirksville, but apparently I neglected to take any pictures. Sorry Whit!

Sometimes we get to see this guy. We're so glad when we do. He's been SO sick the last 3 weeks, but has had to work crazy hours anyway. In fact, he is probably sick BECAUSE of the crazy hours! Poor Daddy man!
Esther loves her bath time. And she loves her sister!

OK, this boy, Uncle Gordan, is the sweetest boy I have ever met. He is the only one, besides me, who can get Esther to fall asleep. He is great with kids!

I guess Granny also has the magic touch! This was taken the day after Stuart's birthday. All the Deardens got together for a birthday party and she just got plum tuckered out! Sweet girl!

My dear neighbor and friend, Annie, took these last few pictures. Aren't they amazing?!

It is funny that we went all winter without getting sick, but as soon as spring officially hit, we all got terrible colds. In fact, Charlotte and Esther got two colds right on top of each other. We're finally starting to recover, minus the nasty coughs the two younger girls have.
Because of this, sleep training has been non-existent, and we are just trying to all go to bed early together to maximize sleep. I didn't know I could be this tired.
Esther continues to delight us, with the added bonus of wanting to be held all the time. Lucky for her she's so stinkin cute. Also lucky that I can do almost anything with only one hand.
She isn't crawling yet, but gets around by scooting. She loves to stand and hold on to things, so we think she'll be an earlier walker like Alana, but I really want her to learn to crawl. She recently started eating Cheerios, and she likes it.
