Travel log

Monday:
7:30 am
Wake up, take Stuart to school.
8:00
Come home, rest, shower, eat, do dishes, try not to be frustrated that I'm not in labor.
11:30
Go to the Walmart in American Fork to get the oil changed in the car.
1:00
Visit Ashley, YAY! That was fun because she just had a baby a month ago, and he is SO cute! (and he was due just a couple days before my baby, but luckily he's super healthy even though he came early!)
3:00
Pick Stuart up from school, try to go visiting teaching, make dinner, try to relax with a very wiggly baby kicking my sides.

Tuesday:
8:30:
Wake up to my phone ringing; it's my long-term sub calling to ask a few questions and to see if I'd had my baby (apparently my students were DYING to know!) I also got a friendly greeting from 30 10/11 year olds! Then its eat and take Stuart to school. (we're developing a trend) Then I went to Walmart (AGAIN!) to try and find a diaper bag, but I couldn't find one I wanted, so I just got stuff to make sugar cookies. After that, I went to Barnes and Noble to get "Who Moved my Cheese" for Stuart for Valentine's Day. Sadly, it was $20.00 (YIKES!) and I just couldn't pay that much for a book we could borrow from the library (sorry honey, your present will have to be a new baby...) Also at B&N I found the cutest book that made me laugh and cry! Click on the title to this entry to see the amazon link. The book was from the baby's perspective of being in the womb, and I thought "Well, if it's so boring in there, I have nothing against you coming out!"
12:00
come home, eat, watch "A BABY story" and worry that I'll swear at Stuart when I'm in labor (I told him that if I get completely irrational he should tell them I want the epidural!) By this point I realize my baby hasn't moved like at all today, so I freak out for a while, eat more food (like I need that after gaining almost 3 lbs in one week!) and finally feel relieved that she starts moving again!
3:00
make sugar cookie dough. I really can't stand just sitting around, I was SOOO bored.
4:00 pick stuart up!
6:00: now I'm finishing this entry. Maybe some of you can see why I am going CRAZY waiting for this baby to come!!!! I think I even forgot some capitals and periods (luckily my 5th graders don't view this website!)
Now Stuart is off to a review session for his midterm tomorrow. So I'll be left to my own devices again for the rest of the evening. Can I just have a couple of real contractions?!! PLEASE?!!!!

Ugh, I am so sorry that nothing has happened yet. I hope things start picking up. Try doing the hula. Maybe she'll fall down into place and get things going. Someone told me that she did that and the next day her baby came. She did that with both of her kids. Doesn't hurt to try at this point.

Ooo... I just can't help myself. I have an Ogio diaper bag and I love it! I got it at Gear 4 Guys at University Mall. Instead of going to WalMart tomorrow you could go to the mall and check it out! Here is the link for it online. There are a few colors. I like the black the best.

Ok, sorry, have to comment twice. If by chance you do buy it, tell them Jeron Stonehocker sent you and to give him the credit. :) He gets a little comission with every sale and, hey, who can't use a few extra bucks right?

They are pretty expensive, but they have a 20 year warranty on zippers and seams so you can get a new one for each baby if you break it. What other diaper bag does that?

Waiting is no fun! I never had a contraction until they induced me after my water broke on its own. And contractions are NO fun (especially when you are induced). You could do what I did and pick up a 25 lb baby and accidently make your water brake ;) Just keep thinking, soon I will have my little baby in my arms!! Good luck!
