Stories to tell!

We have a lot of pictures that we haven't posted. As I was doing this post I realized that our future children will probably feel less loved because Lana has gotten so much blog space, and they probably won't. Oh well.

First, we had to include plenty of pictures of the Halloween "Lana the Lion" costume! Thanks Karen for letting us borrow it! I had to put bows in the mane, because as you know, only boy lions have manes...and cross-dressing is against the honor code! (Really I was just concerned that people would think our cutie was a boy!) I'm sort of anti-Halloween. I hate that people make it bloody and yucky, or else scandalous (like the 30 something moms of my students who felt like they needed to come to school in their "women of ill repute" costumes...you know what I'm talking about.)

Anyway, we were just happy to get some cute pics, and I know Julie especially will love them!

Sporting her new pink camouflage beanie, Alana opened her first party invitation. I didn't get the pictures of her eating it, which of course she tried to do!

Lana & Mama after the bathy time! What fun!
I really just thought this one was funny!

Eating her first apple. Ignore Stuart in the background.

This is Alana with her Eppie grandparents, taken on my birthday! I just found it on our old camera and thought it was sweet!

I DO love those pictures! She is most definitely the cutest and non-scariest lion I have ever seen. (I love the bows). I also love the "after bath" picture, your hair looks really good like that, you are so beautiful! I love you!!

Oh she made such a cute lioness! How sweet is she with those bows in her hair. Too, too cute! Love them and I love the one with the toy on her face, how do they do things like that?
