College Commencement and Convocation ceremonies are very interesting with a 1 year old. Luckily, Grandpa & Grannie D were there at both to help out, and Grandma E was there to entertain the Toddler at Convocation (Grandpa E just had shoulder surgery!)
It was a great day, I am very proud of Stuart for all that he has accomplished. His hard work has paid off, and I think even he is a little surprised at what he has done. If you had asked him in High School, he didn't even think he would go to college, and now he has graduated from the #1 ranked MAcc program in the country. We're glad to be starting our journey towards a career, but we know that it definitely won't get any easier! We look forward to the challenges and choices ahead and hope that we can live our lives well and be able to help our family and others! Without further ado, here are the pictures (in no particular order!)
Our Alana with Grandma E! Thank goodness for grandparents when you are a tired, stressed, preggo mommy! (Alana had be crying hysterically ALL day and didn't take a nap, hence the exhaustion in her eyes!
Baby girl playing with the sponge rollers right before we left for Convocation. Good distraction. Hopefully she'll let me use them in her hair soon.
With Grannie & Grandpa D at Commencement (President Uchtdorf spoke, it was really neat. I prefer Elder Nelson and him to Dick Cheney (that's who spoke at my Commencement.)
Stuart didn't realize his preggo wife had hiked up and down the Marriot Center steps in high heels to take his picture, so he went and sat down.
Luckily, I caught his attention! Here's my handsome graduate!
Alana & I left after Stuart got his diploma (He was on the first row, you may have noticed). So here is a pic of her daddy coming home!
It's been a busy week, and we are excited to have the daddy to ourselves for a little while before he starts a temp job! Thanks to everyone for friendship and support, and to family for making the time to come to this special event! We love you!

So exciting, congrats Stuart!!! There is a light at the end of the very long tunnel. Who knew? It's Rob's turn in another week and a half. YAY!!
Congratulations Stuart!!! That really is very impressive. I'm glad Alana survived graduation. Crystal, thanks again for making jam with me on Wednesday. Let's get together again soon!
