The Ultrasound

First of all, taking a 14 month old to an ultra sound, especially one who is sprouting 4 teeth at once, is NOT a good idea. Alana was not very happy about it. But I WAS! It was definitely amazing to see the little baby I'm growing! The radiologist was not as personable as the one who did the ultra sound with Alana, so it was a different experience. But the baby is very healthy, everything looks normal, which is definitely happy news.

By the way, I have to ask the people who voted for twins...do I LOOK like I'm having twins? Just curious. I'm not by the way. We're having another little girl and couldn't be more thrilled. In fact Stuart, who has never shown a preference for our baby's gender (meaning he's totally content either way) said on the way to the appointment "I kind of hope it's a girl, but I'll be happy either way. We're happy our dear little girl will have a sister, as I LOVE my sisters and I think they will be great friends (even if they fight over clothes and bathroom time).

To sum it up, our first little girl has brought us SO much joy (despite anything my posts may lead you to believe) so we are thrilled to add another little girl to our family! I'm getting more and more excited to see the difference in their personalities, and how Alana will interact with our baby! She really is very loving. Just this week, she has hugged 2 babies. She's getting better at being soft...as long as they don't have one of her toys! :)

Yeah!!! That is exciting. Oh, and I TOTALLY agree with you about taking a toddler to an ultrasound-- NOT a good idea, especially if Dad wants to see anything!

So I just realized today that your blog isn't private anymore. When did you change it?

That's great! I secretly was hoping you would have a boy, because they're so dang fun, but it is nice to have two in a row the same gender. That way you don't have to go out and buy a completely new wardrobe...Now we know why Stewart really wanted another girl :)
