Would you like some food with your candy?

Our diet has mainly consisted of candy the past few days. I know, I'm such a good mom! Perhaps it's the same at your house. My friend Dani just gave her 2-year-old the bucket of candy and let her eat it all at once. She may have something there! :)

We had a fun Halloween. It started on Wednesday with a Trunk-or-Treat at Uncle Ance & Aunt Jewey's ward house. You haven't heard the cutest sound in the world until you've heard the girl ask "trick or treat." Jewey taught her that. You can teach a kid anything if the reward is candy! (That's how the girl learned her colors before she was 18 months old!)
Here's a pic of Girl and Jewey.
Yes, I occassionally wish I was a gorgeous as my sister. ;)

On Saturday we went to the Trunk or Treat for our ward, but we thought it started at 6:30, so of course we got there at 6:40 only to learn it had started at 6:00. Oh well! (Did we really need more candy anyway? NO!)

The Girl LOVED her lady bug costume, and I was thrilled to find a matching creeper for Sister. Here are the rest of the pics. :) ENJOY

To conclude this post, I leave you with some pics of the the Girl that are too funny to leave out. Yes, she is either eating candy or has candy smeared on her face in all of them!

Yep, I gave her the entire bag(minus the suckers, gum and tootsie rolls), and now as of the night after Halloween there are only 3 Smarties left! Granted yesterday she was hyper beyond words, but now we're on a candy break for a bit before we start having the occasional sweet again.

P.S. Thank you again for the play group today. To get out and just be able to talk with you did worlds of good for me. Thank you!

Nah, forget the food, candy is good enough for us! Love that high-pitched trick-or-treat...we really should capture it on video because it's the cutest thing ever!
