My Three Year Old!

Yesterday Alana was diagnosed with an ear infection. Yet again, I deserve an award. Really, I should just realize any time my children aren't acting normal, whether it's extra fussiness or anything else, that they are probably sick. On Wednesday and Thursday it was pretty much constant crying over every little thing that happened. I didn't end up getting her an antibiotic, since the doc said the ear infection was almost gone, so we just did some motrin and lots of rest. She is much better today. She's whined a little, but not even a tantrum! My poor child! She really deserves a mother who is much more patient and understanding!! Can I blame sleep deprivation and pregnancy?

ANYWAY, February 17, 2011 will not go down in history as one of her best birthdays. Hopefully she won't even remember it! But I think she did enjoy opening some presents and playing with her Daddy, and our great neighbors upstairs.

I left presents on her bed in the morning before she woke up, hoping it would give her a great start to her day! She enjoyed the presents I think!
On the way home from Urgent Care, we stopped at McDonald's for a Happy Meal. She fell asleep in the car before she even took a bite of her fries, and didn't even move when I transferred her to the couch. She was much happier after this nap! (And she was up until almost 11 pm!)

This is her opening the present she had been beggin for since Christmas: a Disney Princess sleeping bag. She loved it, and it made me happy to see her so happy!!
