I've heard people say "my baby just won't take a binky." Before now I thought they just weren't trying hard enough. With Alana, Charlotte, and Esther I MADE them take a binky (otherwise they nursed me to death and fussed so much!). But I really can't get Seth to take a binky. He did a little bit at first, but now he just kind of chews on it and gags. When he is fussy he either needs me to wrap him up and put him in his bed, rock him, or put him in his swing.
Stuart and I are really glad that we won't have to go through the process of binky-weaning, but Seth likes to suck on his fist so we will see if he becomes a thumb-sucker.
