Stuart

We are so lame. We didn't even take a picture of Stuart on his 31st birthday. But I wanted to write down some things that I love about Stuart!

1. He is so funny. Seriously, he makes me laugh. Ok, sometimes I get mad at him too, but it's only to keep him humble.
2. Have you ever met someone that you automatically knew was smart? They can be kind of annoying. Stuart isn't like that. He is totally down to earth and humble. But I don't think I even understand how smart my husband is. His fellow PhD students tell me that he is a genius at econometrics, which is like Calculus on steroids. It's really fun to be married to someone who is smart, but not a know-it-all, because it makes Stuart so fun to talk to. We never run out of things to talk about, and he analyzes things every way possible before making a decision. Also, he doesn't let his emotions get the best of him while forming an opinion.
3. Every day when Stuart gets home, I have 3 very excited little girls. They really love being with their dad. They love watching shows like Star Wars with him. They love playing board games (and occasionally computer games) with him. He is such a good daddy! He is really the only other person who enjoys our kids as much as I do.
4. When we moved to Arkansas, Stuart was asked to lead the missionary efforts for our ward. It has been a challenging calling, mostly because working with 19 year old boys can be frustrating. :) But Stuart has really put his best foot forward and that is how he always tries to be with his church callings. He is dedicated to the Lord!

There are many more awesome things about Stuart. I love him so much!
