Yesterday we took Seth to get his first set of shots. I'm always nervous about immunizations. Yes, I know they don't cause autism. I'm aware that the benefit outweighs the risk. But I have so many friends who are anti-vaccines that it's sometimes hard to listen to my gut instinct that tells me it will be ok.
Anyway, Seth weighed in at 20 lbs 12 oz, and was 25 inches long. He sure has grown a lot! He is the sweetest little guy. He coos and gurgles a lot, and is learning to blow raspberries. His voice is really low and guttural, which is fun to listen to. If he works really hard, he can roll over from tummy to back, or back to tummy. That surprised me because none of the girls could roll at all until they were 6 months. I have a feeling he is going to be an active little boy.
Also, Seth is a great sleeper! He usually has at least a 5-6 hour stretch of sleep, but sometimes he will even sleep 9-10 hours. Of course, tonight he will probably wake up every 3 hours. That's what I get for bragging about his sleep.
We just love this little boy and can't get enough of him! He smiles at everyone and loves his mama. In fact, when he got his shots his cry was "mooom! momma!" Even the nurse said it sounded like he was saying "mama." He sure knows how to melt my heart! He loves his daddy too, and lights up when he sees Stuart.
