Esther October 2015

I've never met a 4-year-old like Esther. Sure, she still has tantrums. Mostly when she's overtired or really hungry. But I don't ever really have to tell her what to do. All I have to do is explain why something is important, and she does it herself. I never remind her to brush her teeth, because I taught her the importance of healthy teeth and now she brushes several times a day without being asked. I hope that's not an OCD tendency, but for now it's just cute.

Esther loves playing with Seth and making him laugh. She loves helping me clean. Her favorite chores are cleaning the windows (spray bottle, hello!) and rolling my underwear to put in the drawer. She's my little buddy, but she talks with excitedment about the day I "put [her] in school." Fortunately for me, the deadline for Kindergarten is August 1st, so I have 2 more years of her being home. What will I do without her?!

Sometimes I think she gets bored being home with Seth and me all day long.

This girl still loves me a little too obsessively at times. I'm ok with that!
