Seth at 10 months

I call Seth "The babiest Boy" and "the boy of my life" and "the baby of my life". I'm not sure why. He is so squishy and so perfectly baby. People tell me all the time that he belongs in a magazine. He's cuter than any magazine baby, but one thing is certain: he has got me wrapped around his finger. He's the perfect blend of curious and cuddly. He doesn't need me to hold him every second, but he likes to snuggle sometimes. He adores playing with his sister, and his Daddy is his best buddy, but I'm his mommy.

Seth can stand on his own and take steps. I can't believe he is 10 months old. If he hears the door open, he races outside with his super-speedy crawl. If we forget to deadbolt the glass screen door, he will push it open and squawk when he gets stuck. He manages to free himself and achieve freedom. I've never seen a baby that wanted to be outside more than Seth! Of course, his favorite outdoor activities include crawling on the grass, playing with spider-web-encrusted toys in the garage, and putting rocks in his mouth. We have to watch him carefully. I can't let him on the back deck, because he hasn't figured out that falling down stairs isn't fun.

We just adore this little boy more every day!

He got his first real haircut: this was after the first day (it took two sittings to get it done):

Everywhere we go people compliment his beautiful eyes. He's a handsome boy!
