My little Threenager

Do you know what a threenager is? A three year old that acts like the stereotypical teen. Here are some recent statements from Esther to help you decide what kind of three-year-old she is.

A few days ago Esther demanded a drink in a not so nice tone: "Mom! You didn't even get me a drink!"
"Esther, why don't you try that again in a more polite way"
"Mom! It's my body and I can use it to talk any way that I want!"
When she said that my first thought was "did Esther really just assert herself like that?" Time for lesson on choice and accountability!

Esther regularly hurts herself. If she bumps into the wall, she says "Ugh! We should've not have moved here!" If she falls off a chair she says "Ugh! We should've not had this chair!" Today when baby brother grabbed her hair and  accidentally scratches her, she said "Ugh! We should've not had this kind of baby!"
