Nothing exciting has happened, but time is flying and we're enjoying the summer! Here are a few updates:
1. DD is teething. YUCK! Poor thing is just miserable!!!
2. I switched midwives, then switched back. The clinic I switched to was going to make me be hooked up to all sorts of IV's and monitors no matter what, and wanted to give me pitocin after delivery, even if everything was fine. So I switched back, which means I'll give birth a little further from my home, but at least I'll get to have the experience I want as long as things are healthy and normal.
3. Baby sister is GROWING! And getting strong.
4. DH is still studying his brains out! He'll take the GMAT soon. So say yours prayers that he'll get a great score!
5. Still no temp job. But we're surviving. Let's just say that blessings like getting a random $75 credit from Provo city for our electric bill really testify the importance of paying tithing and having faith! :)
6. We've been hanging out with Aunt Julie a ton since she moved 15 minutes away! It's great to have her so close.
7. We started attending a Bradley childbirth class (made possible by a nice blessing!) and I like it a lot. The focus is on staying healthy and learning relaxation. I think it will help us to have a natural, gentle birth for our baby.
8. We attended the Wright family reunion a few weeks ago. Here are some pics:
9. DD1 and I took a parent/tot swim class. She didn't really learn anything, but she loved playing in the water!

I love how you say that nothing exciting has happened, then give a list of 9 exciting things that have happened! (LOL.) Maybe you don't know it, but your life is actually interesting and I love to read about it! (And the pictures are always great!) Sorry it didn't work out with the new midwife. If it makes you feel any better, they didn't work out for me either.
Yeah, New Beginnings was disappointing for us too. I just think that any hospital-affiliated midwives are going to be limited in really providing what we envision midwifery to be. I don't know what we'll do next time.
I'm glad you guys had fun at your reunion and in the swim class. I hope Stuart finds work soon...I agree--the Lord really blesses us for paying tithing. I'm glad you're enjoying your Bradley class!
Looks like the swimming is fun! Nice to see how you're doing. I hope everything works out for you with the midwife.
