Mom tickets

I get very tired of telling my children to do things OVER and OVER and OVER! It's a battle every day. They rarely want to help, and getting them to obey is difficult. So I decided to change something. It might just be a temporary fix, but right now here is the plan:

The kids get tickets for doing things, which they then exchange for things that they want (ie movie/computer time, treats, etc.) I have a list of things they can do and how many tickets they get. Then I have a list of things they might want.

Yesterday we got home and Alana read about 10 books. She has a lot of tickets. Charlotte cleaned up lots of toys and things from the floor. She has a lot of tickets. Esther did a few things to get tickets, then freaked out when I told her to pay me 5 tickets so she could watch a show. She did not want me to take her tickets. It's over her head still, I guess..
