Congratulations!

As I mentioned earlier, my dad graduated from WGU this weekend. It was a really neat experience. I love you dad and am SO proud of you! To see pics and read what Julie wrote click here.

Also, Danny called this morning to tell me Wally was in labor. Her C-section was scheduled for Aug 1, Whitney's wedding day, but I guess little Alisha didn't want to miss all the wedding excitement! The doctor didn't want to do a VBAC because of the risks, so at 8:55 am she was born. She weighs 6 lbs. 5 oz and Danny said she has tons of hair. She had a little cone head since she was already engaged and ready to be born. I just think it's great that she got to be born on the day she was ready to come, instead of when it was convenient for the doctor! Happy Birthday Alisha Collette! (I may be butchering the spelling of her name...:)

Anyway, life is just so exciting. The funny thing is that when I heard Wally was in labor, I wanted another baby! Wait a minute, I already have a baby. But Alana is growing SOOOO fast! She is in such a fun stage, but a small part of me misses that brand-new baby stage too! I just hope to enjoy all the stages of my children's lives!!
