I love my mommy. She is great! Yesterday she turned 48 (I thought it would be nice to tell the world that, and she never looks at this blog, so she won't get mad at me!)
Happy Birthday to my mommy. When I was young one of the biggest impressions she left on me was to help others. She was constantly helping others. Partly because she didn't know how to say "no" but mostly because she loves other people. She was a great example.
Now that I'm a mommy, I realize the sacrifice she made for us. I didn't understand until now just how tired she must have been, or how much she loved us to give up the things she would have liked so that we could have what we need.
When Alana was born, my mom came to help out for a day. It was amazing, and the next day the only thing I wanted was my mom to be there! Thanks mom for all you do, for listening to me complain, for helping me when you can, and for teaching me the Gospel! I love you!!
